Testing

Cardiff PAT Test provides a high quality, cost-effective portable appliance testing service using best practices and advanced equipment with in-built asset management and test record storage.

Our portable appliance tests are carried out to the exacting standards set out in the IEE/IET Code of Practice for In Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Appliances. The quality and consistency of our testing, equipment calibration, record keeping, and asset reporting system is regularly inspected and approved by the NICEIC.

Labelling

We have also developed a unique labelling and barcoding system using labels made from high quality hard-wearing vinyl that is virtually indestructible, completely waterproof and is resistant to chemicals, oil and UV light.

Reports & Certificates

Upon completion of testing, we will provide a detailed report that contains information about your assets, test results, critical failures and defects, repairs and certification. This comprehensive summary enables you to monitor your assets, which is particularly beneficial to those operating across multiple divisions and sites. As an environmentally conscious organisation, this report is sent to you as a digital file. If you require a hard copy, we can provide a book-bound copy of your report.

Repairs

Should we identify any damaged, faulty or hazardous equipment during testing, we will offer advice, carry out any necessary repairs and retest the equipment accordingly. We carry a wide range of spares to ensure we offer a quick and efficient service that minimises disruption to your business.
